SantaFactory, Budapest, Now On Until 20 December

SantaFactory was first organized in 2005. The aim of the event is to provide gifts through fundraising to large families, families with many children in need living in extreme poverty in December, during the Christmas period. In our calls we encourage not only companies but citizens as well to help. What is needed the most are primarily non-perishable food items, detergents, toilet articles, toys and clothes.
Based on the 2009 results, SantaFactory was declared the second biggest charity event in Europe by an independent jury of 11 professionals in Lisbon.
2011: We helped 257,000 children by delivering gift packs. SantaFactory is already the largest and most reputed charity event in Europe.
2013: We managed to promote the event in a way that surpassed all the activities we had carried out before. As a result, we could make the Christmas period a little brighter for 289,000 poor children. It was a special result that more donators showed up at SantaFactory’s collection points than ever before.
2014: We reached 348,000 children, which is a 20 % increase compared even to the 2013 result. The number of individual donators exceeded 100,000.
