Interest In Hungary’s Anti-Brain Drain Scheme Growing
A growing number of Hungarians abroad and employers at home are showing interest in the government’s programme to entice young Hungarians working abroad back to Hungary, economy ministry state secretary András Tállai said.

In a written response to independent lawmaker Zoltán Kész, Tállai noted that the government launched the scheme last year with a budget of 100 million forints (EUR 320,000) for relocating at least 50 young Hungarians over the course of three years.

The programme has already helped 57 Hungarians secure jobs at home. A total of 125 companies offering 1,200 jobs are participating in the scheme, he said, noting that the number of job openings is constantly changing.
