Launch Of The Interconnected Tram Network In Buda
As of 16 January 2016 travelling through Buda is possible with less or even no changes. Thanks to one of the most significant rail transport development projects of the last decades, the tram lines compose a single network again.

Between the Northern, Central and Southern areas of Buda, a network requiring no changes is being created, and from Óbuda a rail connection requiring no changes is built in the direction of Batthyány tér, Széll Kálmán tér, BAH-intersection, Móricz Zsigmond körtér, Albertfalva, as well as Kelenföld. Brand new step-free CAF trams will be running on these renewed lines.

BKK will do everything in order to provide a trouble-free introduction of the interconnected tram network, therefore will provide information on public transport alterations at all available forums.

Details of the new traffic order can be found at the website and Facebook page of BKK, information maps are placed in the concerned stops, on all vehicles running on Buda side announcements are played for passengers about the changes, and pocket maps showing the new network are available at the customer service points of BKK.
