Air Canada Rouge To Launch Budapest-Toronto Flight
Air Canada Rouge is planning to launch a direct flight between Budapest and Toronto as of June, Budapest Airport, the operator of the capital’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, said today in a press release.

Air Canada Rouge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada, will operate the flight three times a week, according to earlier reports.

With the planned route, the number of direct flights to Toronto from the Hungarian capital will rise, as Air Transat currently flies once a week to Toronto from Budapest. Hungaryʼs former national carrier Malév, which was grounded in 2012, stopped operating direct flights between the two cities in 2008.
