Alitalia To Offer More Flights, Seats On Budapest Routes
Italian airline Alitalia announced that it would raise the number of its weekly Budapest flights from nine to ten, and operate aircraft on the routes with extended seat capacity, Hungarian chief of the airline Zsolt Nagy said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The chief noted that load factor on Alitalia flights exceeds 80%, MTI added. Italian ambassador to Hungary Maria Assunta Accili said Budapest is the second most popular destination among Italians, after Paris and ahead of New York.

Alitalia is expected to increase capacity on its Budapest flights by 20,000 seats, MTI reported citing data from Liszt Ferenc International operator Budapest Airport.
