Austria Resumes Border Controls
Austrian authorities reintroduced checks and controls on the Hungarian border yesterday, creating lines of traffic four kilometres long on the M1 motorway leading towards Hegyeshalom. The checks will be extended to the southern part of the Burgenland border from next week.

The measure will affect the border stations at Nagysároslak, Szentkút and Rábakeresztúr.

Depending on the situation, checks can be introduced at other sections of the border.
