Invitation: IHBC Spring Visit To Orphanage In Göd, 23 April
Topház Special Home is an orphanage and special home for children and adults with special needs in Göd, just outside of Budapest. The Irish-Hungarian Business Circle (IHBC) and the International Student Association of Semmelweis (ISAS) have a long-standing relationship with Topház, including fundraising and regular work-visits several times a year.

Our next visit to the orphanage is on Saturday, 23rd April, and, depending on the weather, we will help out either outdoors in their vegetable garden and painting garden furniture, or indoors with cleaning, to help the orphanage finalise their recently completed remodelling works.

We will meet at Nyugati Railway Station at the ticket offices at 9:30 am on Saturday, 23rd April 2016, buy our train tickets, and take the train.

Please bring along your student ID/public transport pass for reduced fares. The orphanage will arrange transport at their end.

Driving is also possible and if you decide to take a car, please let us know if you have any available seats. We return in the afternoon.

Important: Please arrange for your own food and drink (lunch and snacks, etc.).

Organisers are Rebekka Hooks (ISAS) and Istvan Fulop (IHBC). Istvan’s phone number is +36-30-553-96-24 and Rebekka’s is +36 70 376 7888

This will be a fun visit with lots of smiles from the residents and a great feeling of being able to help.

Everyone is more than welcome to attend! You can bring your dogs as well, with a leash and muzzle (please check related railway regulations first).
