No More Diabetic-Friendly Labels
Due to an EU regulation, the labels and corresponding orange dot marking products as safe for diabetics will disappear from foodstuffs in Hungary from June 20, the foundation “A bit of attention” underlined at a press conference.

The “diabetic friendly” category was used only in Hungary and will be replaced with more sophisticated information regarding sugar content, nutrition specialist Erzsébet Soltész underlined.

She noted that the change will pose a challenge to everyone.
