New Sports Hall For Felcsút
A luxury sports hall will be built in Felcsút, the birthplace of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the weekly Figyelõ reports. The town of 1,700 already has a Ft 3.5 billion football stadium with more seats than the town has residents, and a nearly Ft 1 billion narrow-gauge railway that is reportedly under investigation by the EU anti-fraud body OLAF.

The new sports facility will have a football field with artificial turf, a boxing ring, medical rooms and conference rooms.

Members of the local council are reportedly unaware of the details. They refer journalists to mayor Lõrinc Mészáros, a friend of Orbán.

Mészáros has begun a two-month vacation and the local council has ordered a public administrative holiday from July 24 to August 18.
