Taxify Launches In Hungary, Replacing Uber
Transportation network company Taxify is launching operations tomorrow, offering a mobile phone application and aiming to fill the hole left by U.S.-based ride-sharing company Uber’s exit from the Hungarian market, according to a press release.

Estonia-based Taxify offers the possibility of calling taxis through an app based on GPS coordinates, as well as GPS tracking of the journey, and an easy and automatized payment system.

Taxify said it believes the experience of traveling by taxi can be redefined, something the company promises will be immediately apparent on the first day after the launch. Taxify adds that it is committed to continuously training and educating participating drivers.

Thousands of people have already downloaded the application in Hungary, and Taxify expects demand to boom for its services.
