Friday 12 August

10:00 AM - Yoga
2:00 PM - Sleeping Beauty Project (H): Daily Dream Coaching
5:00 PM - Cortez-Fontán (ARG): Los Cuerpos

Two men passing a stripped-down space, in their bodies live together the terrible and the beauty, the animalistic, the capricious, the urge, the extreme strength and the neglect. These bodies do not go around with delicacies, and without giving truce to erotism, graze with a brutal emotive nature. The portraits or situations that occur, push them to uncertain areas, putting them face to face with the physical boundaries between each other. This confrontation puts this bodies vulnerable and ready for multiple mutations.

6:00 PM - Co-Exit (H): BlastOFF
10:30 PM - bodylotion co-dance (H): Minus x Minus = Plus
11:00 PM - National Dance Company Wales (UK): A Mighty Wind / Tuplet

A Mighty Wind is a high energy, vibrant piece capturing the intensity of nature’s elements during a storm, set against the power generated by an alternative rock music concert.

Alexander Ekman’s Tuplet, is a witty and high octane exploration of the simple notion of rhythm. The dancers’ breath and bodies create a powerful drumming soundtrack, combined with pounding electronic accompaniment, as well as the familiar and evocative jazz sounds of Fly me to the Moon. This fierce physicality combines with joyful, carefree dance that really shows off the personality and virtuosity of the dancers.

Arrastão is a dance- concert, in which a performer / conductor directs real-time light, sound and public, inviting it to be actively engaged in the construction of rhythmic landscapes.

Through dance as seductive rhetoric, the conductor hysterically dodges light, sound and audience. Starting at first to attract the audience through orchestration’s dance, he coordinates music with light and silence with shadows, decibels with movement, blurs, focuses, changes the colour of light. Through this strobe of instructions, an inviting atmosphere is created, and the audience feels it's taking part of an interactive experience. Interactive in its real core, for while the audience is first seduced and then encouraged to participate in this "game", the conductor himself is physically affected by its response, which nurtures his own eccentricity.

Poetic and involving dreamlike journey in the great airs and melodies of the Italian and European Bel Canto, that with elegance and irony, poetry and smiles are interpreted and tided up to the present so as to make it easy to appreciate their greatness and immortality.

A gentle touch, a respectful approach which brings the audience to the 'Great Beauty', thanks to the light and ironic game of the language theatrical, new, contaminated, usable but also precious and with dramaturgical content. It can enhance and give shape to arias by Verdi, Leoncavallo, Rossini, Handel, Mozart, prolific authors of sublime and immortal works that recall years of history infused and eventful, to create a unique work , Hopera...

6:00 PM - Maas Theatre & Dance (NL): Play it Back

Inspired by the woods, Nastaran Razawi Khorasani explores the fake and the real. Surrounded by the real nature of the forest, she plays something artificial, the fake version that people make of real nature.
