Lufthansa Continues Its New Debrecen-Munich Service Also In Winter 2016/2017
The new route from Debrecen to Munich has been well accepted by the market. Therefore Lufthansa is going to extend its service also now to the winter timetable, operating again on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Furthermore, starting from autumn 2016, Lufthansa flight LH1686 between Munich and Debrecen will have new flight times to ensure better connections to connecting passengers in Munich.

Lufthansa’s Bombardier CRJ 900 aircraft will in future take off in the Bavarian capital at 11:00 instead of the current 7:30 and it will land in Debrecen at 12:35 p.m. Then it will depart at 13:15 and return to Munich at 14:55.

“We have received a wealth of useful feedback from our passengers since launching the flight to our second Hungarian destination”, said Gábor Antal Head of Lufthansa Group in Hungary. “With the new times, passengers of even more domestic and international flights will be able to catch the plane to Debrecen and have a comfortable flight to Hungary”, added Gábor Antal.

Departure from Munich at 11:00 a.m. will allow a comfortable transfer to the Lufthansa flight to Debrecen for the passengers of 23 intercontinental flights from cities such as New York, Mexico City, Beijing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Mumbai, Cairo, Toronto, Tehran, Charlotte, Sao Paulo, Montreal, Boston and Denver. Passengers flying from Debrecen to Munich can use 16 intercontinental flights on the same day to destinations such as Newark, Washington, Chicago, Tokyo, San Francisco, Seoul, Montreal, Boston, Beijing and Hong Kong.

The new timetable will also offer connections to even more domestic flights enabling passengers departing from major German cities (Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Berlin and Stuttgart) in the morning to use Lufthansa’s flight from Munich to Debrecen.

Passengers wishing to fly from Debrecen to North America can enjoy the convenience of the new satellite terminal opened at Terminal 2 in Munich on 26 April. The new satellite offers free five new Lufthansa Lounges with more than 4,000 square meters of space, quiet areas and play areas for children.

The new building offer also Wi-Fi and power outlets, 15 retail shops, seven restaurants and cafés in a spacious as well as 7,000 square meter setting..

The new flight times will be effective as of 02 September 2016.
