Faludy in Search of Faludy

Our special speaker this year is the Rev. Alex Faludy. Father Alex is an Anglican priest in the Diocese of Newcastle, serving Saint John’s Parish in Wallsend. He is the grandson of famed twentieth-century Hungarian poet and literary critic, György Faludy.

Alex is also the youngest graduate of Cambridge in the past three hundred years and an author in his own right.

Our presentation format this year is also new, consisting of question-and-answer. If you have a question for Father Alex – about his grandfather or his own work – please submit it to Father Frank in writing or by email. We shall try to get as many questions answered as possible.

The Mentaterasz Restaurant is a new venue for us but comes highly recommended. Our Harvest dinner menu will feature the best of Hungarian cooking. A vegetarian option is also on offer.
