Afterwards Simon said, " We had a great time last Thursday and I would like to thank everyone who helped put the event toghether, including The Macallan Whiskey, Coca Cola Hellenic and Vass Shoes. Special thanks to Ibolya Auguszt for the fabulous, Scottish inspired, food."

Following an international career in the tailoring industry, Simon Skottowe founded his own company in 2001 in Budapest. Combining the experience and knowledge gained while working in England and Italy, Simon's company provides a quality and service comparable to some of the famous tailoring houses of London and Milan, and boasts an ever widening, international clientele.

Macallan Whiskey is matured only in oak sherry casks brought to the distillery from Jerez, Spain. In 2004, The Macallan introduced a new product, the Fine Oak series, with the whisky mellowed in bourbon oak casks as well as sherry ones. In 2007, a bottle of 1926 The Macallan was sold at a Christie's auction for $54,000, making it one of the most expensive bottles of liquor ever sold...

And last but certainly not least at Simon's exclusive event a spotlight was put on Vass Shoes, makers of ready-to-wear and bespoke handcrafted shoes. Created in in a variety of styles that are both comfortable and elegant, but also sturdy and long-lasting, Vass enjoys a loyal customer base from all over the world.

The evening also featured fine food and drinks, and was graced by a ‘who is who’ of the local party scene, which all added to the ambience of this sumptuous event at Simon's place located in Budapest's downtown at V. Zoltan utca 10.
