Car Park Opens At M4 Terminus
The last of four park and ride (P+R) car parks planned for the area around Kelenföld train station, the end station of the fourth metro line, opened on Tuesday.

The new facility can accommodate 500 vehicles, raising the total capacity of the four Kelenföld car parks to 1,500.

The Ft 4 billion cost of building the four car parks was fully financed by the EU.

The fourth car park was built on a site formerly occupied by disused railway tracks.

Budapest now has 5,000 parking spaces in P+R facilities.
