Hungarian Tourism Agency Promotes Movie Tourism
The Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) has signed an agreement with the Korda Filmpark studio to strengthen movie tourism. Movie tourism presents great opportunities, as many travellers choose their destinations based on films, said MTÜ director Gabriella Litpay.

Videos on the making of movies at Hungarian locations will be posted on the MTÜ website.

Premium publications will be issued at various fairs and exhibitions detailing the potential sites for professionals.

Andrea Kakuk, head of the Korda Filmpark, noted that a movie production involves 150-200 people, who stay in some cases for six to eight months.

The Korda film studio, sprawling on 35 hectares in Etyek, was built from €91 million in 2007.
