‘Great Spring Bicycle Parade Of Budapest’, 22 April
Following previous bicycle parades, cyclists can again get fuse a love for Budapest with biking again on Saturday in a mass Spring ride. 'I bike Budapest' is intended to be a celebration for all those who ride a bike in this city, it's not meant to be a demonstration apparently. Organisers invite Xpats to enjoy the company of thousands of others cyclists - some dressed up in costumes, and playing musical instruments.

Starts at 3:30pm in Szabadság tér. Route: Szabadság tér – Garibaldi utca – Pesti alsó rakpart – Közraktár utca – Petőfi híd – Irinyi József utca – Karinthy Frigyes út – Móricz Zsigmond körtér – Bartók Béla út – Szent Gellért rakpart – Attila út – Alagút – Lánchíd – József Attila utca – Andrássy út – Hősök tere – Olof Palme sétány – Városliget, Királydomb

Mass Bike Lift: approx. 6:30 pm

The ride is organised by the Hungarian Cyclists' Club and sponsored by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Hungary.
You can support the event by donating for I Bike Budapest t-shirts, sweaters, raincoats!

Organisers would not like to see: commercial activity, advertisements, party politics

There will not be a single official after party since the crowd is very-very diverse, but some places will especially welcome cyclists.
