Index Chief Editor Resigns
Chief editor of Index Gergely Dudás will resign from May 31, the news website has announced. He will be replaced by Attila Tóth-Szenesi the former head of the political news division for seven years, Index added.

Dudás has been the chief editor since 2013 and spent over 13 years with the website.

Index remains as it was – an independent, entertaining, reliable and credible news site, Tóth-Szenesi said.

In 2004, Szenesi participated in a closed campaign meeting of the Socialists, disguising himself with a fake moustache, and reported on the meeting, Index underlines. In the same year, he wrote a book about national football team leader Lajos Baróti.
