“Budapest was one of the few airports in the world that lacked a hotel with direct terminal access”, said CEO Noah Steinberg of Wing, the developer of the Ft 3.2 billion project.

The construction of the airport hotel is part of the Ft 50 billion BUD 2020 development programme, said Budapest Airport CEO Jost Lammers.

The hotel will offer 145 rooms and will feature a restaurant, lobby bar and a 350m² conference centre.

The operator of the hotel will be Ibis Styles, part of the Orbis Hotel Group.
