Coach Of Hungarian National Football Team Storck Given A Second Chance
The Football Association (MLSZ) has decided that Bernd Storck will remain coach of the national football team, president Sándor Csányi announced on Thursday night.

The MLSZ took into account the circumstances of past losses and Storck’s plans for the future, Csányi said.

After a meeting at OTP headquarters, Csányi said Storck had offered his resignation following last Friday’s embarrassing 1-0 defeat to Andorra, but the MLSZ asked him not to make that public.

Hungary now has very little chance of qualifying for the World Cup in 2018.

Csányi announced that ticket prices for the next three home games will be Ft 1,000.

Storck, a German, exceeded expectations by leading Hungary into the last 16 at the 2016 European Championships.
