Referendum Question Rejected Regarding Third District Dam
The Capital Election Committee has rejected a proposed referendum question regarding the mobile dam to be built along the Római part resort area in Budapest’s Third District.

The proposal had been submitted by Dialogue executive committee member András Béres and Márton Pataki, head of the Budapest chapter of Together, to get the city council to annul an April resolution and erect the dam elsewhere.

The election committee, however, said city council had proceeded lawfully and no referendum may be held on the issue.
