Restaurant Review: Hachapuri Budapest - Great Georgian Grub
Written by Mr. Yuzu. We’ve been here about a dozen times and everything has been tasty and fresh. If there is something you don’t like ask the waiter if it’s in your food or not because they don’t write everything on the menu that goes in their dishes. The little Georgian “pizzas” are excellent, I really like the little nut ball appetizer spreads. Their soups are really good as well.

Ms. Salty says:

I’ve really liked this place for a while now, they serve great Georgian food. I have to say that I don’t really have any other experience to compare with but they make good food. My first dish was the grilled salmon with pomegranate sauce and tonis puri. It’s simple and delicious.

I also liked everything I stole from everyone’s plate we ate there with (different type of shashlik, stews, veggie degustation menu, a variety of acharulis, dumplings, cheese pies, etc) except one chicken soup they forget to mention it has dill. That was icky but I hate dill, so… Otherwise, everything is fresh, the portions are decent and the price is good too. Maybe the only thing that made me raise my eyebrows was the price of the vegetable shashlik and the tomato salad as a side dish.
