Expat Church's Charitable 'Harvest Dinner', Budapest, 27 October
From the organisers: Join with fellow parishioners and friends of Saint Margaret’s as we gather once again for our annual Autumn Harvest Dinner. Our topic this year is very current Brexit: What It Means for Us

Our speaker for this special event will be Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy, Budapest, Mrs. Caitlin Jones. The Deputy Head of Mission is a senior diplomat and a trusted adviser to the Ambassador.  Caitlin Jones was appointed to this important post two years ago in November 2015.

Before coming to Budapest, she served in diplomatic posts from Cyprus to Guatemala to Brussels. The current focus of her work is on Britain’s relationship to the European Union.

Brexit of course is of great importance to anyone living in Europe these days, including here in Hungary. This should prove to be a very exciting and engaging presentation and event for all of us.

We encourage you to invite friends, co-workers, family, and neighbours.

The Haxen Restaurant got excellent reviews at our anniversary celebrations this past spring, and we are pleased to return there for this special dinner. Mark your calendars and diaries now and be sure to join us for the festivities.
