State Railway Company MÁV Stops Printing Timetable
State railway company MÁV will not print timetable books from 2018, the company announced on Tuesday. The PDF version of the printed timetable remains downloadable.

At the same time, MÁV will increase the availability of its online timetables.

Based on a 2014 survey, only 1.5% of MÁV travellers use the printed book to check timetables, the company said.

The German railways stopped printing timetables in the 2008-09 season and the Austrian railways stopped it in 2011-12.
