Budapest To Host Final Round Of FIM X-Trial World Championship On 29 March
Budapest has been selected by the promoters of the FIM X-Trial World Championship to host the last round of the 2018 competition and a press conference was organized on 9 November to present the prestigious event to the press.

In presence of the 22-times World Champion and legend of the sport, Toni Bou, as well as Henrik Hermann, President of MAMS (the Hungarian Motorcycling Federation), the press conference has seen the reigning champion and Repsol Montesa Honda rider deliver a show in front of the Papp László Sport Aréna where the event will be taking place on 29 March 2018.

X-Trial is a spectacular and astonishing motorcycling sport where precision and balance matter much more than speed. Riders defy gravity while climbing onto different sorts of obstacles with the objective of cleaning each section without putting the foot on the ground.

A truly impressive show in perspective for the Hungarian crowd that Toni Bou is very excited to meet: “It is a fantastic opportunity for all the riders to discover new places and promote the sport around the world” – the Spaniard said during the press conference.

“We are looking forward to competing for the world title in the beautiful arena of Budapest, and I believe we will be able to put on a great exhibition for the fans”.

A light and sound show similar to the biggest international events accompanies every occasion to deliver an unforgettable experience of stunt and thrill to the public.

The Hungarian crowd will even have the chance this time to add a dose of suspense to it, as the Budapest round will be the grand finale of the 2018 season, crowning the new champion after the event.
