Where To Watch The World Cup In Budapest
Football is everywhere these days, with lots of sports-pubs all around town showing the matches, and restaurants have also installed large TV-screens so visitors can watch the World Cup as they munch. For more match atmosphere you can check out the action in several great public spaces listed below.

To watch the FIFA World Cup together with a crowd of hundreds, maybe thousands of others in Budapest, then Szabadsag square (Liberty Square) is a good bet. Located between the Hungarian Parliament and the St. Stephen’s Basilica, there you will find two large screens and lots of international football fans.

Akvárium (Erzsébet tér 12.) is also a top choice, as good match atmosphere can usually be found at this popular venue in the middle of the city next to Deák Square, plus Champs Sziget Beergarden (on Margit Island) and Westend Roof Terasz (Váci út 1-3.) are other good options for outdoor viewing.

Sky Lounge @ Corinthia

You can choose to watch the World Cup in style at the Corinthia Sky Lounge, on the Grand Ballroom Terrace at the downtown Corinthia Hotel Budapest.

"Enjoy live streaming of the games in the comfort of a specially-created lounge, featuring everything a fan might need including: tubs of ice-cold beer, table football, World Cup cocktails, delicious grilled dishes and hamburgers as well as an a la carte menu".
