Wizz Air Opens Link to the Maldives from Hungary

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the subsidiary of the low-cost airline Wizz Air, recently launched its first flight to the Maldives, Portfolio reports.
Passengers from Budapest can reach the tourist destination island via a transfer in Abu Dhabi.
Wizz Air flies between Abu Dhabi and the island capital Malé four times a week in October, six times a week in November, and daily from December.
Wizz Air set up the local subsidiary in the autumn of 2020 as a joint venture with the Abu Dhabi state investment fund.
The first Wizz Air flights departed from Abu Dhabi in January 2021
