St Stephen's Day Celebration in Hungary Bags Award at 'Oscars of Events'

Hungary’s Saint Stephen’s Day 2022 celebrations have received an important international recognition at the Eventex Awards 2023 professional competition, the Hungarian Tourism Agency said.
The celebrations for Saint Stephen’s Day marking the founding of the Hungarian state received a Silver Award in the Celebration Event category, the statement said.
Saint Stephen’s Day celebrations spanning several days were recognised as one of the best European events, it added.
The winners were selected from a record 761 submissions from a total of 49 countries, and Saint Stephen’s Day has been recognised besides such prestigious events as the Qatar Airways 25th Anniversary, Hong Kong New Year Countdown Celebrations, and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 closing event, the tourism agency said.
