Early detection of the disease greatly increases the chances of successful treatment. There are two major components of early detection of cancer: education to promote early diagnosis and regular screening.

Race for the Cure® is the world’s and Europe’s largest walking and running event in the fight against breast cancer. Nowadays, 1 million people gather in over 140 cities around the world in more than 30 countries, (in more than 20 countries in Europe) to celebrate life and honour those who lost their lives due to breast cancer. 

Race for the Cure® unites people affected by breast cancer, and their family, friends and sympathisers. During the event survivors celebrate life, while participants show their support to their loved ones.

Under the European umbrella organization Think Pink Europe, Breast Cancer Info Association (Mellrákinfo Egyesület) became one of the European national RFTC organizing teams and calls for a race in Hungary for the 4^th time in 17^th of September 2023 in Csopak at the lake Balaton.

The Association came into life in 2014 after Halom Bori’s personal engagement and fight with Breast Cancer. Most of the volunteering and associating members are breast cancer survivors who know all about physical and mental difficulties caused by the diagnosis, treatments and different social impacts during their journey of healing.

They are standing for women and their supporting relatives who are in need therefore they need your support to continue their breast cancer campaigns all over Hungary and Europe.
