Wigo to Launch, as Share Now Will Cease to Operate in Hungary
Wallis Autómegosztó will launch its own carsharing service under the wigo brand on October 24. On that day, Share Now will cease to operate in Hungary and its customers - both individuals and businesses - will automatically become wigo users.

The company says that all customers need to do is download the wigo app, which is available on both iOS and Android from today and can be used after a password change.

Based on user feedback, the renewed service offers users extended discounts and flexible, automated package selection, among many other things. In addition, users who have signed up to Share Now until today can continue to use the service abroad.

"Our goal is to ensure that Share Now Hungary's more than 100,000-strong user base can continue to enjoy the renewed carsharing services from October 24 without disruption, with new features and app, familiar cars and zone," said the company's CEO, Márk Koralewsky, who added that the introduction of wigo will help to create an even more personalized customer experience and introduce new features in the future that will better serve the needs of its users.

"Because of its great flexibility, carsharing combined with other means of public transportation can be part of a more efficient daily life in the cities," says Koralewsky, adding that a supportive regulatory environment in Hungary is also essential.

A good example of this is the growing number of cities in Western Europe that are recognising the benefits of carsharing and integrating it into their transport infrastructure, Wallis Autómegosztó says, adding that supporting these initiatives is in the interest of all public transportation users and residents, as the service can result in significantly fewer cars on the road, which means less congestion and more free parking spaces.
