No Poisonous Coca-Cola in Hungary
There is no need to worry about poisoning from the carbonated Coca-Cola soft drinks distributed in Hungary, the local subsidiary announced after several people in Croatia who had consumed Coca-Cola products complained of a damaged oesophagus.

In a statement, Coca-Cola HBC Hungary said “the events in Croatia do not affect the products put on the market in Hungary".

It later emerged that one man had suffered from alkaline cleaning or degreasing agent in the flavoured mineral water, but all other patients had probably just panicked.
