3 Vaccination Points Open in Budapest As Covid Levels Rise in Hungary

Appointments can again be made to receive inoculations against the coronavirus, and three vaccination points have re-opened in Budapest.

The level of traces of the virus in wastewater has risen in 14 towns, the National Healthcare Centre announced.

The three vaccination points in Budapest are the Heim Pál Pediatric Institute, the Southern Pest Central Hospital National Hematology and Epidemiology Institute and the Szent Imre University Instruction Hospital.

Health state secretary Péter Takács announced last week that another vaccination programme is due to start, expressly against the omicron variant of the coronavirus.
