Expect Delays: Hauliers Plan Protest at Ukrainian Border Crossing with Hungary
Hauliers are planning to semi-block the Ukrainian border crossing at Záhony by slowing down the truck traffic on the road leading to it, from today, Blikk reports.

The demonstrators want to draw the attention of the European Commission and the Hungarian government to the need for an immediate review of the agreement concluded between the EU and Ukraine and Moldova, partially liberalising road freight transport.

The organisers have not yet received a permit for the protest action. Organisers say the demonstration will last until midnight on December 31.

They plan to allow only two trucks per hour in each direction through the blockade, except transports of fast-moving consumer goods.
