Top 5 Names in Hungary These Days Officially Revealed
Dominik, Oliver, Levente, Mate and Marcell were the five most common boys names in 2023, as they were in 2022, according to the list recently published by the Interior Ministry.

With Dominik already topping the rankings, at 1,249, the real question, 444 writes, is by how much will Liverpool football star Dominik Szoboszlai's popularity increase this.

For girls, Hanna holds the first place, as 903 girls received this name in 2023, just ahead of Anna at 901 and Luca, at 890.

It was a great year for girls names starting with the letter L, as Lena, Lili, Laura, Lilien and Lara also finished well on the list, 444 adds.

Nolen is gaining popularity as a boy's name, bestowed on 588 boys last year.
