'La Femme', Akvárium Klub Budapest, 25 May
La Femme – the French new-wave-retrofuturist-synthpop band will visit Hungary again on May 25th to perform their new album (Paris-Hawaï) at Akvárium Klub!

La Femme, a French psych-punk rock band founded by guitarist Sacha Got and keyboard player Marlon Magnée in 2010 in Biarritz, expanded its lineup over time.

Additional members include former lead singer Clémence Quélennec (until 2019), bass player Sam Lefevre, drummer Noé Delmas, and Lucas Nunez. Clara Luciani, Jane Peynot, and Marilou Chollet are also part of the ensemble.

Their music, often characterized as synthetic and hypnotic, blends elements of cold wave, punk, and yéyé, drawing inspiration from artists like Sparks, The Velvet Underground, and Kraftwerk.

La Femme unveiled three EPs between 2010 and 2013, named La Femme EP, La Podium #1, and La Femme. Their inaugural full-length album, Psycho Tropical Berlin, hit the shelves on April 8, 2013.

In recognition of their musical prowess, La Femme received the French award Victoires de la Musique in the "Album revelation" category in February 2014.

On April 2, 2021, the band released their third album, Paradigmes, which includes several previously released tracks.
