Friday, 07 November 2008 - Emeric Solymossy

We'll be in Budapest for four months beginning in January. Not wanting to transport a lot of "things," can someone tell me if there are "thrift" stores in Budapest where one can purchase items like portable stereos, ventilators, household gadgets, etc? (comparable to the Goodwill, DAV, Salvation Army Thrift stores in the US?
Thanks
Dr. E.
