As an xpat living in Hungary since 1995 and working with troubled youth I have realized that the Hungarian Government is 30 years behind in rehabilitation programs for young offenders with drug problems, family problems, and so on. I am in the midst of trying to open a halfway house that will have independent funding and avoid government red tape. I am looking for private donations as well as volunteers. Matt Price is back! Arguably the most extroverted and animated comedian we have ever brought to Budapest returns for another all-action show at Smiley's. Opening the show will be Scotland's multi-talented Maureen Younger.

Matt Price is one of the great story-telling comedians, who has plenty of hilarious stories to tell. Originally from Cornwall in England's deepest Southwest, Matt comes across as a genuinely likeable man, who has the ability to hook his audience and keep them on board throughout his performances. The popularity and great success of his previous visit to Budapest has prompted us to bring him back again to launch our 2012 shows with a bang!

Our opening act is the wonderful Maureen Younger, a natural, immensely talented comedienne, whose self-effacing and intelligent style has endeared her to audiences throughout the world. Originally from Scotland, Maureen has performed live comedy in Spanish, French and German, as well as her native English, but the Hungarian language is perhaps one challenge too far! Her "full-on" approach and expert timing blend perfectly with her warm and likeable personality to guarantee that every audience member is drawn in to enjoy every word.

Due to the anticipated demand, we will be operating a system of numbered seating, so please make sure to either buy tickets or reserve your seats in advance.
