'International Girls’ Night Out', Hilton Westend, 8 March

The International Women’s Club Association of Budapest (IWCA) organised a special night out on Saturday March 8th, 6:00-11:00pm and many Xpat ladies attended (plus one or two surprise men).

The event featured an International buffet, open bar with wine, beer and special girly cocktails. Great raffle prizes and karaoke made the night unforgettable for everyone that joined-in.

'Passion-Ballet Opening', Opera House, 9 March

A special performance of three one-act ballets.

‘Carnival 2008’, InterContinental Budapest Ballroom, 20 February

The local Intercontinental Hotel invited clients and partners to enjoy an 'All Nations Carnival Party' to celebrate the arrival of Spring.

Guests were treated to a fine selection of food from carnival locations all around the world. There were separate Baroque and Brazilian dance shows, plus dance lessons for all those talented / brave enough to join in on stage.

'Budapest Business Journal's 15th Birthday Party', Kempinski Hotel, 7 February

Around 200 local Xpats celebrated the 15th Birthday Party of the BBJ at the local Kempinski Hotel on 7 February 2008 from 7.30pm until 10pm. 

The event featured short presentations from its new management, guest speakers wishing the paper well, dance performances, a harp player, business card draw, cocktails, Hilltop wine, soft drinks with great food and service from the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest.

'Magical Opera Ball', Budapest Opera House, 2 February
