From this October Peppers! Mediterranean Grill will serve up Mediterranean and Hungarian specialties, with wines from Italy, Spain and Hungary. The stylish AQVA Lounge Bar will offer tapas style food, pepper dips, cocktails and an amazing selection of mineral waters from all around the world.

Both are located inside the Budapest Marriott Hotel, and at a 'pre-opening-tasting' last Friday the hotel General Manager Robert Grader joined other senior managers to experience Executive Chef Markus Marquardt's in action for a food and wine matchmaking exercise.

"More than 5600 runners from 51 countries registered to the 21 kilometre, and more than 400 pairs in the relay run. There were more than 1000 participants from 50 different countries! Taking into consideration also the Fun Run there were almost 7 000 runners on the course in Budapest yesterday! Most foreign runners came from the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Finland, Spain and Sweden.

Next year the 23rd Nike Budapest Half Marathon will be held on 7 September 2008!"
