'Historic Opening Of Continental Hotel Zara', Budapest, 22 September

On the evening of Wednesday 22 September around 500 formally dressed guests attended the official opening ceremony of the Continental Hotel Zara in Budapest. This listed-building has recently received Euro 50 million worth of renovations to create a blend of art nouveau; art deco and modern design, all of which still manages to respect the tradition of the first baths built on this site in 1827.

'Critical Mass - From The Other Side', Budapest, 22 September

Car traffic was restricted to a single lane along the Nagykörút from 6.30 p.m until 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, as thousands of cyclists took part in the Critical Mass event. The main 4-6 trams service were allowed to move unrestricted.

Drivers were recommended to use Hungária körút, Dózsa György út, Fiumei ut and the riverside roads.

The demonstrating cyclists arrived at downtown Erzsébet tér from 7.45 p.m. to 8.15 p.m, which blocked traffic along the Kiskörút and József Attila utca.
