Simon Skottowe Bespoke Tailors have been working in Budapest since 2001 producing hand crafted bespoke tailoring and retailing high quality menswear.
Simon studied fashion, and trained as a tailor, in London. After working for many years in Italy, and then in various countries around the world, he decided to open his own business in Budapest. In the unique British way Simon’s style combines exquisite tailoring with a thorough knowledge of bespoke traditions and a quirky, rapier sharp eye for details.
With his fashion training he is able to advise and assist in the creation of any type of bespoke menswear from formal suits and dress wear to more casual tailored sportswear.
All of the tailoring is full bespoke, with each customer having an individual pattern cut according to their exact measurements, proportions and stature. Working with his in-house team of tailors the jackets are all fully canvassed, and mostly hand stitched, following the Savile Row traditions and techniques.
He also offers a bespoke shirt service and a range of specially produced men's clothing and accessories. Next to their our label shirts and polo shirts they carry a carefully curated selection of trousers, knitwear, ties, pochettes etc sourced from renowned manufacturers such as Petronius 1926 and the Italy’s Gran Sasso.
