'Palace of Delights', Budapest Palace Of Arts, 25 May

'Palace of Delights', Budapest Palace Of Arts, 25 May
"The popular “Palace of Delights” series continues every Sunday, welcoming children and parents keen to experience handicrafts, educational activities, logical games, intelligent quizzes and various theatre performances. Entry is free.

Proggrames start from 10 a.m.

The theme for each week is suggested by some celebration, anniversary or world event, around which theatre programmes and handicraft activities have been devised. Visitors can learn about the theme in funny ways, but can also learn folk and handicrafts, play with puppets, model clay or indulge in some folk dance. And if they want to, they can join in with the musicians as well!

The series was revised and expanded in September 2007 with a new series “Cross-country excursions” on the last Sunday of each month which focuses on the culture of a Hungarian town, its environs and the region.

The host for these events is Attila Várkonyi (DJ Dominique)."
