"The British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary kindly invites you to the Candle-lit Express, a romantic journey back in time with delicious food and musical delights on Friday, 17 April 2009, 19:00 (departure time) from Budapest Nyugati Station, Platform 9.Everyone has read Agatha Christie's classic crime story Murder on the Orient Express or seen its film adaptation – if you were touched by the romantic, mysterious atmosphere of the train carriages reminiscent of times past, this trip is for you.
The luxurious carriages of the Candle-lit Express comprise of a parlour car, a bar car and a dining car, offering three hours of delight in the ambience of the past. The four-course candle-lit dinner is accompanied by fine Hungarian wines offered by a sommelier. Music featuring popular international and Hungarian pieces is played in the bar car throughout the journey.
