Koka: 500-600 Billion HUF Tax Cuts In 2009

Koka: 500-600 Billion HUF Tax Cuts In 2009
"Hungary's Free Democrats (SZDSZ), the junior party in the ruling coalition, seek tax cuts worth up to 600 billion forints ($3.42 billion) in 2009 so as to spur economic growth, Chairman Janos Koka said.

Accordingly, the BAT would insist on having a separate commodities division within the BSE structure, and would require the “open cry” method of trading, which is customary for that market, for a minimum of another five years. BAT shareholders also voted to allow the exchange to engage in own shares repurchases, up to an amount equalling 10% of its total registered capital. Before the EGM was brought to a close, Peter Juhasz and Csaba Bugar were elected to the BAT board of directors, replacing two unspecified persons who recently resigned. Moreover, Janos Granitz and Tamas G. Koranyi were elected to the supervisory board, also replacing resigned members. Granitz has been made supervisory board chairman.
