"Cabinet ministers yesterday met for a “frank” meeting in Göd, north of Budapest, to assess the present political scene and discuss current issues such as tasks facing the ministers this year, the government’s working schedule and the spring legislative programme.On Tuesday evening Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány held talks with Socialist mayors in Hatvan and gave a “convincing and energetic lecture” about thousands of billions of forints of EU funds, of which Ft 3,000 billion has already been allocated, putting Hungary among the first to utilise EU funding.
Magyar Hírlap reports that a Socialist politician, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the daily that “after so many unkept promises and so much empty rhetoric, I did not believe a word he said.”
Government spokesman Dávid Daróczi said no questions pertaining to a cabinet reshuffle were discussed."
