Draskovics To Meet Irish Counterpart

Draskovics To Meet Irish Counterpart
"Justice and Law Enforcement Minister Tibor Draskovics is slated to meet his Irish counterpart on Friday to discuss Irish national Tobin Ciaran Francis, who collided with a two-year-old girl and five-year-old boy, killing them both, when driving in Leányfalu on April 9, 2000.

A Hungarian court allowed Francis to leave the country against a bail payment of Ft 500,000 and he was in absentia sentenced to a three-year prison term for negligent driving causing deaths on October 7, 2002.

Irish authorities have since ruled that Francis should not serve a prison term either in Hungary or Ireland, however."
