MVM Modern Pentathlon World Championships, SYMA Hall, Until 6 June

MVM Modern Pentathlon World Championships, SYMA Hall, Until 6 June
"The last chance to get quota for this year’s Olympic Games, the MVM Modern Pentathlon World Championships will be held from 29 May to 3 June 2008 in Budapest, in the Syma Sport- and Event Centre as well as in the Statue Park of the Ferenc Puskás Stadium.

For the first time in the history of the sport all events will be held close together in an approximately 100-metre diameter circle, so that visitors who are interested in watching the championships only have to walk a few steps if they want to follow the best, most interesting part of the games.

The championships will start with the Women’s and Men’s Qualification Rounds, followed by the finals and the traditional Team Events, finally the battle of the Relay teams will finish the games. The complete list of programmes, useful information, interesting facts and background information about the MVM Modern Pentathlon World Championships can be found on the official website of the championships, www.ottusavb.hu .

On the same website anybody who cannot or wouldn’t like to visit the event in person in Budapest can follow the championships: live internet link, alternative webcam options and immediate result updates are provided by the organizers."
