"This is the 18th annual run organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, in association with the Canadian Embassy and a local Cancer Research Foundation. The run /walk starts at 11am on September 14th, registration starts an hour earlier at the Athletics Center.Since 1997 these runs have raised approximately HUF 140 million, with 100% of the funds contributed to help with cancer research in Hungary e.g. for the purchase of equipment for Hungarian researchers.
• Individual Participation - registration fee: 1 500 HUF. The fee includes a T-shirt and a goody bag.
• The Raffle - tickets are sold to the public. Donated raffle prizes such as hotel stays, air plane ticket(s), dinners for two, gift baskets and other items are going to be awarded as prizes. These prizes encourage raffle ticket purchases, and hence donations to the “Fuss a Rákkutatásért!” Foundation. Tickets can be purchased in advance of Run Day for 1 000 HUF each or 6 for 5 000 HUF from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary.
• 1 % of Personal Income Tax – As a registered foundation in Hungary we are eligible to receive the 1 % of the PIT donated.
