"Hungarian mineral water producer Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft. has changed its strategy on logistics and will set up its own transport fleet with five trucks in it, the company has announced.Szentkirályi decided to assume distribution tasks as of early August so that it could monitor how its produce reaches its clients even more closely.
The company has bought top-of-the-line, high-capacity trucks with freezing units from Mercedes-Benz. Three trucks that have just rolled out of the factory will be followed by two more later on. The purchase boosted the value of Szentkirályi's vehicle fleet to HUF 125 million. The company has chosen Axon Zrt. to manage its fleet.
The trucks, which meet the strictest European emission standards (Euro IV), have a capacity to deliver seven million litres of mineral water a year."
