Now showing in Budapest: 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'

Now showing in Budapest: 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'
"On the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Pademe Amidala battle against villains led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grevous."

Movie type: Animated Adventure - This is an animated feature set between Episodes II and III of the live action Star Wars film series. While there are all the light saber duels and space battles that the series is known for, the film is pitched more toward a kid audience. Most of the cast of the live action films do not provide the voices.

Director: Dave Filoni

Writer: George Lucas

Script: Henry Gilroy, Steven Melching, Scott Murphy

Starring: Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker’s voice), Ian Abercrombie (Palpatine senator’s voice), Samuel L. Jackson (Mace Windu’s voice)

Length: 1 hr. 38 min.

Reviews:

“Average It's another example of how much the entire project feels like a cheap knock-off - an attempt to prey on whatever little good will still exists in Star Wars fandom. “Berardinelli, Internet Critic

“Below Average The familiar "Star Wars" logo and the pulse-pounding John Williams score now lift the curtain on a deadening film that cuts corners on its animation and slumbers through a plot that (a) makes us feel like we've seen it all before, and (b) makes us wish we hadn't.” Roger Ebert

“Below Average Don't expect the seventh Star Wars film here. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is more like a long Saturday morning cartoon.” USA Today

“Average Bu the film's real drawback for adult STAR WARS fans is its relentless dullness coupled with the fact that Ahsoka, hailed as a new generation of can-do Lucasian heroine,...” TV Guide Online
